Barcelona hammered Huesca 8-2 at Camp Nou

The Laliga champion Barcelona hammer Huesca 8-2, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez scored twice. Huesca took a early lead in their first league visit to the Nou Camp, when Colombian forward Cucho Hernandez deflected the ball in from point-blank range but Messi soon dampened the celebrations of the visiting supporters by cannoning a shot in off the post to level.Jorge Pulido own goal gave the catalans the lead and Suarez extended their lead by scoring for the first time in five games. Carlo Ancelotti suffered his first defeat after Sampdoria beat Napoli 3-0

Napoli were thrashed 3-0 by Sampdoria and missed the chance to level up with Serie A  Leaders Juventus. Juventus  moved 3 points after beating Parma  2-1 on saturday.Napoli were undone by two first-half goals from Sampdoria's Gregoire Defrel and Fabio Quagliarella's second-half strike.Defrel, on a season-long loan from Roma, fired home rising shots in the 11th and 32nd minutes and Quagliarella added a third in the 75th minute to secure Sampdoria's first win of the season and made Napoli to their first defeat.

Rafael Benitez hail Newcastle United effort in the 2-1 defeat at Manchester City

Rafael benitez hail his players for their effort against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.Manchester City thrashed Newcastle united 2-1 this evening thanks to goals from Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker. DeAndre Yedlin was on target for Benitez's side, who are now 18th in the Premier League. Newcastle fought back after going behind early on, Yedlin cancelled out Sterling's strike and the game was decided by a second-half goal from Walker.Newcastle United manager Benitez said : I was pleased with some things, but disappointed in the end because we want to get a result. The team effort was there and the mentality. The players were fighting for each other. I was really pleased with that, but disappointed.

Liverpool maintain their 100percent record despite Alisson blunder against Leicester City

Liverpool thrash Leicester 2-1 to maintain their 100 per cent record, Sadio mane and Roberto Firmino scored in the first half to put Liverpool on top at the King Power Stadium before the hosts hit back thanks to Alisson.His blunders, which saw him robbed of possession by Kelechi Iheanacho and resulted in Rachid Ghezzal slotting home, was the first goal the Brazilian has conceded since his £67million summer move from Roma.But Liverpool survived to record their fourth straight win and continue their flying start to the campaign. Leicester battled well and worried the visitors but failed to win.

Celtic officially accepted £20million bid for Moussa dembele from french club Lyon

Celtic have officially accepted a £20 million bid from ligue 1 club Lyon for Moussa Dembele. After the relationship between the french player dembele and Brendan Rodger have deteriorated  in the last 24 hours as a result of a string of controversial Twitter posts.However, Dembele reacted angrily to his move to the Ligue 1 outfit, who will play in the Champions League group stages this season, being blocked and took to social media to aim digs at the Scottish champions.He wrote: A man without his word is nothing.
