Manchester United have made a verbal offer to Sofyan Amrabat’s agent but the Fiorentina midfielder would still prefer a move to Spain.
The Moroccan midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from Fiorentina in the ongoing transfer window.
Manchester United have been linked with an interest in him but the Red Devils are now focused on getting a striker.
However, talks have taken place between Amrabat’s agent and the Premier League giants over a potential switch this summer.
And according to French outlet Foot Mercato, the Red Devils have made a verbal contractual offer to the midfielder’s agent.
Manchester United have their eyes on him with a view to potentially signing him later in the window.
The Moroccan also has an offer worth €15m per year from Saudi Arabian outfit Al Ahli this summer.
But for the moment, the midfielder would still prefer a move to Spain and is waiting for a concrete offer from one of the big names in La Liga.
Amrabat is also prepared to stay at Fiorentina next summer if he does not find a club of his choice this summer.
