Former Juventus youngster Dean Huijsen is blossoming at Bournemouth and has drawn the attention of big clubs, for instance, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
The Bianconeri pocketed €15.2M from his sale but could get more money in the future since they are entitled to 10 percent of a future sale, AS reports (via Tuttomercatoweb).
The center-back spoke to Oggi Sport Notizie in late January.
“I’ve improved physically and learned a lot during my six months here. I want to forge ahead. Director Tiago Pinto conveyed a lot of trust in me. It was important for me to find minutes and play. He’s keeping the promises he made.”
Huijsen detailed what occurred last summer with Juventus.
“They told me that they had to sell me since the first day of the pre-season retreat. I had a normal relationship with Thiago Motta while I was practicing with them. I was more focused on finding a team that suited me.”
“Looking back, I would still choose to join Roma on loan because I had many opportunities there. I’ve learned a lot from that experience. I felt very good in the city, and their fans are fantastic. Daniele De Rossi was like a second father to me. We talked and laughed all the time. He’s a really nice person.”
Huijsem was quizzed about the rumors linking him to Real Madrid.
“I truly don’t know anything about these things, as I have people close to me who handle this stuff. I haven’t heard about them, and maybe they wouldn’t even tell me. Maybe it’ll happen one day, but there’s nothing for now.”
