Barcelona president Joan Laporta has been quizzed once again on potential transfer targets and been asked about the possibility of trying to sign Erling Haaland or Nico Williams.
The Manchester City striker is said to be Laporta’s dream signing for Barcelona, but he has recently put pen to paper on a monster contract with Pep Guardiola’s side.
Laporta refused to rule out ever trying to sign Haaland but admits it’s not on the agenda at the moment.
“In life almost nothing is impossible but I think that at this time it is not what we are thinking. An incorporation like this,” he told TV3.
Laporta also claimed that Nico Williams is not in the club’s transfer plans after misisng out on the Spain star last summer.
“Nico Williams was one of the candidates last season but we decided to go for Olmo and at the moment other options are being considered,” he added.
Barca are thought to want a left winger in the summer transfer window and possibly also a successor to ageing striker Robert Lewandowski.
