Barcelona have confirmed that Raphinha has penned a contract extension at the club until 2028.The new deal is thought to include a pay rise for the Brazilian who is coming off a stunning season for the Catalan giants.
Here’s the club’s official statement:“Contract renewal agreement reached between FC Barcelona and the player Raphael Dias “Raphinha”, who is now set to stay with the Club until 30 June 2028.
“The Brazilian forward signed his new contract on Thursday at the Club offices in the presence of FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta, first vice-president Rafa Yuste, and Club sporting director Anderson Luis de Souza “Deco”, among others.”
Raphinha has played a key role in Barca’s three domestic trophies, scoring 34 goals and contributing 22 assists in all competitions.He also celebrated in style by walking the length of the pitch at Montjuic on his knees in what’s becoming a trademark gesture by the forward.
