Bild reports that VfB Stuttgart have internally set an asking price of €60m for striker Nick Woltemade, whose stock continues to rise this summer.

The 23 year old has played a starting role in Germany’s run to the under-21 Euros final, scoring six and assisting three, which has resulted in increased exposure and interest in the striker.

Stuttgart have set an internal asking price of €60m for the striker, as the Swabians have little interest in selling Woltemade this summer. Stuttgart’s problem is that they are trying to extend Woltemade’s contract, but there has been no agreement on a new deal, due to salary differences.

However, this has not stopped the media and Bayern Munich linking the 23-year-old with the Rekordmeister. Bayern have previously spoken to Woltemade back in February and could initiate contact again, while the players and management of the club have continued to be questioned about the former Werder Bremen player, while in the US at the Club World Cup.
