Barcelona are still trying to find a way to return to the 1:1 rule and need to free up space on the wage bill to achieve that aim.
Several players have already left, including Ansu Fati and Clement Lenglet, while Pablo Torre and Inaki Pena are expected to follow.Yet more departures may be needed, although Barcelona have now ruled out the option of selling either Marc Casado or Fermin Lopez, according to Catalunya Radio.
Both players have been linked with big-spending Chelsea, while there’s also been reported interest from Saudi clubs in Fermin.
However, Cat Radio report that neither Hansi Flick nor Deco are considering selling either Lopez or Casado and their places in the squad remain safe.
The big hope still seems to be that Marc-Andre ter Stegen will decide to move on after being told he’s no longer No.1, but it appears he is determined to fight for his place.
