Assan Ouedraogo and Castello Lukeba then added to the rout in the second half to seal a commanding 6-0 victory for Ole Werner’s in-form side.
On a winless run of seven games, Leipzig remain second in the Bundesliga, five points behind leaders Bayern Munich.Augsburg, meanwhile, sit 15th after their humiliating home defeat.
