Real Madrid talent Arda Guler insists he believes in the Merengues’ project and ‘won’t stop fighting’ until he becomes an important player in the team.
The Turkey international has been linked with a move to Inter in the summer.
Italian media suggested that Nerazzurri had already opened preliminary talks with the player’s entourage, and Hakan Calhanoglu suggested that his compatriot move to the Stadio Meazza to get more playing time.
Guler replied to questions about his future in an interview with Marca, but didn’t seem willing to change club anytime soon.“Real Madrid gave me a plan, and I still believe in it. I’m sure I will succeed in Madrid,” he said.“I’ve bought a house here. I work hard and I am always ready to play.
“I love Real Madrid fans; their support means a lot to me. I am very grateful. I came to Madrid to play and be an important part of the team, and I won’t stop fighting until I achieve it.”
Inter have also been linked with other strikers, including Como’s Nico Paz and Lille’s Jonathan David, who is available on a free transfer.Arda Guler, 20, has made 30 appearances under Carlo Ancelotti this season, but mostly as a substitute, collecting just 1,088 minutes of action.
The Turkey star has still managed three goals and five assists across all competitions with Real Madrid this season.His contract at the Estadio Bernabeu runs out in June 2029.
