Bayern Munich signed on Joao Palhinha almost one year ago now, a midfielder that had his ups and downs at the club. The Portuguese international seemed to satisfy the fans on most occasions, but clearly not the club.
Per a report captured by @iMiaSanMia, Bayern is looking to sell Palhinha to another club in the upcoming transfer window.
The hope is to offload him to the Premier League, where he still has some kind of reputation, meaning that Bayern could make back at least some of the €51m they paid Fulham last year.
According to the same report, originally from Christian Falk, Palhinha is not a good fit for Vincent Kompany’s system and what he needs on the pitch.
He joined Bayern around the same time that Kompany did, but the report says that he wasn’t a fit for the Belgian’s system even back then, as he was still a piece for Thomas Tuchel’s puzzle. The club is reportedly in complete agreement with Kompany and will therefore try to sell him this summer.
