Johnny Cardoso, who is finishing up a great season for Real Betis, has recently revealed he is not thinking about a move despite interest from many big clubs.
Atlético de Madrid, FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig are all said to be interested in the New Jersey-born midfielder.
Signed from Brazilian team SC Internacional just last December, Cardoso has become a key player for Manuel Pellegrini despite stiff competition from many respected veterans in the Betis squad.
“My head and my objectives are in Betis,” he said.
“I arrived a short time ago. I want to continue working and evolving. My head is with Betis and the rest are things for my agents to deal with.”
Barcelona may instead look to sign his midfield partner, Guido Rodríguez, in the next transfer window.
