Lionel Messi back in Barcelona training after breaking arms

Lionel Messi has returned to Barcelona training on Wednesday after missing Barcelona victory over Inter Milan and Real Madrid in the last week. Messi did some fitness training at the club training ground and was able to do some ball work for the first time since breaking a bone in his arm.Messi is ready to return within the three weeks he was initially ruled out for. But, according to report, The Catalans won't take any risks with his recovery.Barcelona will play Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday before travelling to Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Saturday. Messi will not be available for either game but his return to training led to hopes he could return for next Tuesday's game at Inter.

Rafa Benitez hopes to complete deal with Sebastien Haller once the transfer window opens

Newcastle united boss Rafa Benitez is believed to have made Eintracht Frankfurt striker Sebastien Haller his top transfer target, who has netted six goals in nine appearances this season.Although, Benitez is unaware of what his January transfer budget will be, it is believed that he is growing ever-more optimistic that Mike Ashley will be prepare to break the club’s long-standing transfer record during the winter window.Benitez is thought to be keen on three new additions in January, with attacking reinforcements top of his list.But Haller is believed to be the number one target, although, Newcastle could face competition from Dortmund for his services.

Real Madrid are looking for a new manager that can turn things around to save the season after sacking Julen Lopetegui on Monday due to a dissapointing loss to Barcelona and far from the top in the Spanish league standings. Real Madrid claimed the team deserved a better results with the quality of players it has. Under Lopetegui, Madrid won six matches, lost six and drew two. Juventus Midfielder Emre Can undergoes surgery

Serie A champions Juventus have announced that Emre Can has underwent a successful surgery on a thyroid nodule, Juventus confirmed on Monday that following specialist medical examinations in Germany, Can has had an operation on the issue.According to Juventus website:"The operation was carried out today in Frankfurt by Professor Vorlaender, in the presence of Dr Claudio Rigo and was a complete success. "The prognosis for the resumption of physical activity will be better assessed in the coming days." Can has made eight Serie A appearances this season having joined on a four-year deal from Liverpool on a free transfer in June.

Manchester United return back from defeat to Juventus in the UEFA Champions League midweek by beating  Everton 2-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday.  Paul Pogba scored in the 27th minute to give the Reds  a lead as he perfectly side-footed home from eight yards after seeing his penalty saved by Jordan Pickford.Anthony Martial then doubled The Reds lead early in the second half as he scored a fine finish in the bottom corner before Gylfi Sigurdsson scored from the penalty spot in the 77th minute to give the visitors a consolation goal.

Barcelona defeat Real Madrid 5-1 in El Clasico without Messi

Barcelona beat Real Madrid 5-1 in El Clasico clash on Sunday, Phillippe Coutinho 11 minutes goal gave Barcelona the lead in first half . With Lionel Messi looking on from the bench after being sidelined with an arm injury. Luis Suarez also scored from the penalty spot on the half-hour mark to double his team advantage.Real Madrid striked well into the second half and grabbed a goal back on 50 minutes through Marcelo. However, they hit the post and missed a handful of chances before Barcelona eventually regained their two-goal lead after a bullet header from Suarez in the 75th minute.Suarez completed his hat-trick in the 83rd minute before substitute Arturo Vidal scored four minutes later to give Barcelona a comfortable 5-1 victory.
