Barcelona vice-president Jordi Cardoner has revealed that his club have no plans to re-sign  Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain, dismissing media reports they were ready to tempt the Brazil forward back to the Nou Camp.Neymar won two La Liga titles and the 2015 Champions League over four years at Barcelona and formed a partnership with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi. He left in July 2017 after the PSG exercised his release clause paying a world record fee of £198m, but Barcelona have ruled out a return for Neymar.Cardoner told radio station SER Catalunya on Friday:"No one on the Barca board has talked about the possibility of bringing back Neymar, right now we can't give an answer because no one has even mentioned it."

Barcelona captain Lionel Messi has been awarded  La Liga player of the month for September.The Argentina star had a superb month domestically. He scored three goals and picked up four assists in just five La Liga games.Messi won the award ahead of Alaves winger Ibai Gomez and Girona striker Cristhian Stuani who were also nominated. Messi will receive his latest award ahead of Saturday’s clash with Sevilla at the Camp Nou.

Chilean professional footballer Arturo Vidal has disclosed the club he wants to join after Barcelona.Vidal told Univision:“I will like to play in Mexico, America, for example, would be an interesting option for me, it is an excellent team. Although, I don’t think about the future. But, I leave the door open for Mexico which is a country I really like.
