Alvaro Morata has revealed  that he was very much open to the idea of moving back to Italy after he failed to impress last season.The forward player joined Chelsea from Real Madrid for a big fee but did not live up to expectations despite impressing earlier. Morata was signed by Antonio Conte to replace Diego Costa who was compelled to return to Atletico Madrid after being frozen out of the first team by his club's manager.Morata has scored 15 times in 46 appearances for the blues. Jordan Henderson have signed a new five-year contract with Liverpool, he has revealed his intentions to stay at Anfield until 2023. Henderson has been inspiring Liverpool squad as a captain of the team.In 2011 Henderson move to Anfield from Sunderland and was initially an understudy to Steven Gerrard.He has since gone on to make 282 Premier League appearances for the club, scoring 25 goals and providing 38 assists. He is Liverpool’s most talented passer of the ball but Henderson is known and often criticised for his crossfield and sideways passing.The Midfielder may lack boldness to cover the defence, but his passing range makes him an enticing option. It is difficult to  find another player in the squad who can distribute the ball like Henderson.

Rafael benitez hail his players for their effort against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.Manchester City thrashed Newcastle united 2-1 this evening thanks to goals from Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker. DeAndre Yedlin was on target for Benitez's side, who are now 18th in the Premier League. Newcastle fought back after going behind early on, Yedlin cancelled out Sterling's strike and the game was decided by a second-half goal from Walker.Newcastle United manager Benitez said : I was pleased with some things, but disappointed in the end because we want to get a result. The team effort was there and the mentality. The players were fighting for each other. I was really pleased with that, but disappointed.

Liverpool winger Sadio Mane stated he held discussions with Manchester united before he moved to Liverpool in june 2016. Mane move to Liverpool from Southampton for £34million and claimed united were the wrong team to join for after being approached by then boss Louis van gaal a year  before.
