Bayern Munich keen to complete signing of Chelsea youngster Hudson-Odoi

Bayern Munich are targeting young talent in the current transfer window, have confirmed their strong interest in English teenager Callum Hudson-Odoi amid reports the defending German champions have agreed a fee with Chelsea."We definitely want to sign him - he has the qualities which would fit very well into our team," Bayern's director of sport Hasan Salihamidzic said Wednesday at their winter training camp in Doha."He is very fast and good at dribbling."According to report, Bayern and Chelsea have agreed a transfer of 39 million euros (35 million pounds, $44.6 million), but it is unclear whether Hudson-Odoi would move in the current Bundesliga transfer window, which closes at 17:00 GMT on January 31, or in July.

Franck Ribery will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic indicated on Tuesday.It comes after Arjen Robben said earlier this month that he would leave when his contract expires in the summer after a decade of success with the German champions.Robben, 34, joined in 2009 and formed a formidable attacking partnership with 35-year-old Ribery, whose deal also runs out at the end of the campaign.Salihamidzic told reporters:"The president [Uli Hoeness] talked about it [the possibility of Ribery leaving], and I think it will be like that. Traore back in Borussia Monchengladbach training after thigh injury

Borussia Monchengladbach winger Ibrahima Traore has returned to team training on Monday as Borussia  prepare for their return to Bundesliga action at home to Hannover 96 next Sunday. Traore participated in his first training session since suffering a thigh injury after Borussia’s 3-1 victory in Bremen.Borussia head coach Dieter Hecking stated after Monday’s training session:“Traore situation is improving, he isn’t suffering any more problems.”Borussia Monchengladbach will continue their preparations for the Hannover match on Tuesday with two training sessions at 9:00 GMT and 14:30 GMT. Further training sessions will take place on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Borussia Dortmund thrashed Bayern Munich 3-2 to continue their unbeaten run

Borussia Dortmund twice came from behind to thrash defending champions Bayern Munich 3-2 and move seven points clear of their third-placed rivals.Bayern star striker Robert Lewandowski, who used to play for Dortmund, scored both of his team's goals, including the opener in 26 minutes.  Then after Dortmund star Marco Reus scored the equalizer from a penalty in 49 minutes, Lewandowski gave his team the lead again just three minutes later with this goal.But then Dortmund caught fire. Reus scored again in the 67th minute on a lovely strike before the counter attack created the winning goal from super substitute Paco Alcacer in 73 minutes. Dortmund remain unbeaten and four points clear of second-placed Gladbach at the top of the table.

Bayern Munich President Hoeness disclose he is backing Kovac till the end despite team poor form

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has disclosed that he fully backed  coach Niko Kovac despite the club recent poor form. A 3-0 defeat at home to Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday extended Bayern's winless run to four games across all competitions and left them sixth in the Bundesliga, four points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund.The Bayern manager Kovac has revealed he is under pressure to change their fortunes quickly, with Carlo Ancelotti having been sacked as early as September 28 last year following an unconvincing start to the season.Hoeness, however, has stated he is supporting  Kovac to revive the team.Hoeness told reporter : "I will defend Niko Kovac until the end, We are completely calm."

Spainish striker Paco Alcacer his happy with life in the Bundesliga after joining Borussia Dortmund on loan from Barcelona. He came off the bench to score a hat-trick for Borussia Dortmund in a 4-3 win over Augsburg on Saturday.Paco made it 1-1 in the 62nd minute, scoring with his first touch after replacing Maximilian Philipp just before the hour mark.
