Fulham named Claudio Ranieri as new head coach

The former Leicester coach Claudio Ranieri has been appointed as Fulham head coach to replace Salvisa Jokanovic, Inorder to resolve the club's problems as they are the last in the league with five points. Ranieri has signed a long-term contract with Fulham and his next game will be on November 24th against Southampton, at Craven Cottage.Ranieri stated in Fulham website: “It is an honour to accept Mr. Khan’s invitation and opportunity to lead Fulham, a fantastic club with tradition and history. “The objective at Fulham should never be to merely survive in the Premier League. Liverpool push Fulham towards a sixth successive League defeat

Liverpool beat Fulham 2-0 at Anfield, Mo Salah gave Liverpool a early lead before Xherdan Shaqiri doubled their tally.Just before halftime Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic had a headed goal disallowed for offside by the closest of margins.Liverpool immediately counter attacked and Salah went clear to open the scoring.Shaqiri's scored in 53mins to push Fulham towards a sixth successive Premier League defeat.

Salomon Rondon scored his first league goals for Newcastle to help the Newcastle grab a 2-1 win over Bournemouth at St James' Park. Arsenal will continue their  Europa League campaign on Thursday. The Gunners are at home to face a Sporting Lisbon side it defeated in Portugal two weeks ago. Arsenal will use Alex Iwobi in its match, the Nigerian playing very well in Unai Emery‘s system. Iwobi credits Emery’s training sessions: “Unai’s very intense in training and he’s demanding because he knows how good we are. He always wants us to be at 100 per cent, giving our best. Jamaal Lascelles extend  contract with Newcastle United till 2024. The Newcastle defender has made 100 appearances for United since joining from Nottingham Forest in 2014 and also captained Newcastle to the Championship title in 2017.Lascelles told NUFC TV:“I’m over the moon, it is great news to be tied down to Newcastle for a long time. Manchester United return back from defeat to Juventus in the UEFA Champions League midweek by beating  Everton 2-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday.  Paul Pogba scored in the 27th minute to give the Reds  a lead as he perfectly side-footed home from eight yards after seeing his penalty saved by Jordan Pickford.Anthony Martial then doubled The Reds lead early in the second half as he scored a fine finish in the bottom corner before Gylfi Sigurdsson scored from the penalty spot in the 77th minute to give the visitors a consolation goal.
