Denis Suarez Joins Celta from Barcelona

Denis Suarez’s move from Barcelona to Celta Vigo is now official.The midfielder will join Celta in a deal worth €13m (£12m/$15m) with a potential €3m more in bonuses.Suarez started his career at his new club, before making the switch to Camp Nou. Celta confirmed the move in a tweet on Sunday.Suarez played for Celta B in 2010-11, catching the eye of Manchester City. He spent two seasons in England, without really making the breakthrough into the first team, before moving to La Masia in 2013.After one season at Barcelona B, the club loaned him to Sevilla where he played 31 games. The next season he was sold to Villareal, although Barca inserted a buy back clause in the deal.

Liverpool have signed center back Sepp van den Berg from PEC Zwolle for $1.6 million.The 17-year-old reportedly narrowed his options down to Bayern Munich and Liverpool, choosing the latter. Van den Berg was signed with an eye towards fast-tracking him into the first team and explained his decision. “I’ve seen what kind of players from the academy have grown into the first team. Juventus have completed the €15 million (£13m/$17m) signing of Sassuolo defender Merih Demiral, as per reports.  Demiral impressed in a half-season with Sassuolo in 2018-19, making 14 Serie A starts after his loan move from Turkish side Alanyaspor.
