Leicester City hoping to offload multi-million pound playing asset

Leicester City are willing to cash in on Boubakary Soumaré this summer following his loan spell with Sevilla.

According to Spanish outlet ABC, the Foxes are planning to sell the midfielder in order to raise funds in the transfer market.

The 25-year-old has been with Leicester since the summer of 2021, signing from French side Lille for a reported £17 million.

But he departed the King Power Stadium last year following the club’s relegation to the Championship, moving to La Liga on loan for the campaign.

He has earned praise for his performances in the Spanish top flight, having made 25 appearances for Sevilla in the league (all stats from Fbref).
