Liverpool beat Burnley ahead trip to Munich
Liverpool secured victory in the last game ahead of the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 tie away to Fc Bayern. Jurgen Klopp’s side thrash Burnley 4-2 at Anfield on Sunday afternoon to prepare for Wednesday game in Munich.
Ashley Westwood opened the scoring for the visitors on six mins. The host hit back and turned the game before the half-time with goal from Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. After the restart, Firmino extended the lead with his second goal, Johann Berg Gudmundsson pulled a goal back for Burnley but that was cancelled out when Mane made it 4-2.
