Report: Bayern Munich, Liverpool’s Luis Diaz agree to personal terms

According to a report from Bild (as captured by Goal), Bayern Munich has reached an agreement on personal terms with Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz:Bayern Munich could beat Barcelona to the signing of Liverpool forward Luis Diaz this summer after the Bundesliga club struck an agreement on personal terms.

Diaz is yet to negotiate a fresh deal with the English champions and has reportedly assured Bayern Munich officials that he would consider moving to Germany in the summer.

According to the BILD, the reigning German champions have made significant progress in their pursuit of Diaz over the weekend as they got in touch with the Colombian international, who reportedly assured the club about a possible move to the Bundesliga.

Before anyone starts popping champagne, there are some reasons to tread lightly. Fabrizio Romano is reporting that FC Barcelona is about to get very active with Diaz.

Another thing to consider is if Diaz is seeking to use Bayern Munich as leverage against getting a raise at Liverpool or as an impetus for FC Barcelona to improve its own proposal to Diaz.

While the news sounds encouraging to Bayern Munich fans, this could be a very complex situation and there is plenty of reason to doubt how legitimate this might be.
