Nicolas Kuhn is on his way to Italy to finalise his €20 million move from Celtic to ambitious Serie A side Como.

The German winger has been pictured on a private jet alongside his agent Fabian Dingler, as he travels to Lombardy to undergo a medical and complete the formalities of his switch.

As reported last week, Celtic struck an agreement with Como that will see them net a significant profit on the player they signed for just £3 million from Rapid Vienna in January 2024.

Kuhn had a strong first half of the season in Glasgow, quickly establishing himself as a creative force on the right flank. But interest from abroad never went away, and Celtic were clear from the outset that they would not stand in the way if their valuation was met.

Now, the winger is set to become part of Cesc Fabregas’ ambitious Como project, with the newly-promoted club determined to make an impact in the top-flight.

Celtic are expected to reinvest some of the fee into new arrivals as they gear up for Champions League qualifiers and the defence of their league title.

There have been many links to various wingers since the Nicolas Kuhn exit rumours started swirling, and now Celtic will be looking to make their move to replace the German.
