Manchester United made official enquiry for Bayern Munich centre-back Jerome Boateng

Manchester United are interested in Bayern Munich centre-back  Jerome Boateng. United are planning to strengthen their backline before the  new season starts.

Boateng is one of numerous players to have been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with Bayern making no secret that they will be happy to cash in if the right offer is made.

According to report, Manchester United have now made an official enquiry over a deal for the 30 yr old, and they have been told that it will cost them £53m to move Boateng to Old Trafford.
