Manchester City were reportedly recommended the signing of Fulham's new midfielder Sander Berge by Erling Haaland before his switch to Craven Cottage. The Blues have been on the lookout for a central midfielder this summer after deciding to allow Kalvin Phillips to join Ipswich Town on loan. Haaland still scored 27 goals to claim a second successive Premier League Golden Boot last season, while his tally for City prior to the 2024/25 campaign stood at 90 in 98 appearances.
