Union end 10-game winless run with victory over Mainz

Union Berlin have put an end to their run of 10 winless Bundesliga matches with a 2-1 home victory against Mainz.
Their previous win was a 2-0 at promoted Holstein Kiel on October 20, which preceded a dismal series that included seven defeats.
Union were on target immediately after kick-off on Sunday after Danny Da Costa fumbled a pass from goalkeeper Zentner and the ball was picked up by Benedict Hollerbach, who slotted home.
