Marseille have reportedly held talks with Olivier Giroud’s agent, and that Chelsea aren’t ready on letting World cup winner to leave stamford bridge.
The French player has been a somewhat underrated arrival since he joined the club from London rivals Arsenal in the January transfer window last season. The striker took Alvaro morata’s starting place in the Chelsea line-up, Scored 5 goals and assisted 3 in 18 appearances for the west London. Giroud scored key goals at some point of his six months with the club, including one in their 2-0 FA Cup semi final win over Southampton, as well as a brace in their 3-2 comeback victory against the Saints in the league.
Selling Giroud could be a massive blow for chelsea, as he has regularly shown to be a beneficial player off the bench.
