Barcelona will play the biggest La Liga game of the season at home against Real Madrid in a title deciding El Clásico, and Hansi Flick is expected to call up the following 23 players for Sunday’s clash:
Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 13. Iñaki Peña, 25. Wojciech Szczesny
Defenders: 2. Pau Cubarsí, 3. Alejandro Balde, 4. Ronald Araujo, 5. Iñigo Martínez, 15. Andreas Christensen, 24. Eric García, 32. Héctor Fort, 35. Gerard Martín
Midfielders: 6. Gavi, 8. Pedri, 16. Fermín López, 17. Marc Casadó, 20. Dani Olmo, 21. Frenkie de Jong
Forwards: 7. Ferran Torres, 9. Robert Lewandowski, 10. Ansu Fati, 11. Raphinha, 18. Pau Víctor, 19. Lamine Yamal
There’s some very good news for this one as Barça get back two key pieces in Alejandro Balde and Marc Casadó, who both received the green light on Saturday and are named in the squad. The two are unlikely to start, but their presence alone is a big boost. As for the absences, Pablo Torre (knee), Jules Kounde (hamstring) and Marc Bernal (knee) are all ruled out due to injury.
Predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1):
Szczesny; Eric, Cubarsí, Iñigo, Martín; De Jong, Pedri; Yamal, Olmo, Raphinha; Ferran
