Stoke City defender Eric Bocat is the subject of interest from Europe with Serie A side Parma the latest side keen, reports Sacha Tavolieri.
Stoke City saw their recent unbeaten run come to an end in midweek. Middlesbrough beat SCFC 2-1, which meant that the Potters remain outside of the play-off places.
One positive from the midweek defeat was that Tomas Rigo opened his account for the club. He was brought in over the summer but has failed to really make his mark, something Stoke City will hope happens quickly for any January arrivals.
It’s outgoings that have been on agenda for SCFC so far though amid interest in Sorba Thomas and now Eric Bocat.
Bocat has had a lot of interest from Belgium but now Parma are looking into a deal reports Sacha Tavolieri.
Parma are hoping to agree an initial loan deal which would include an obligation to buy.
Stoke City are hoping to get at least €2m for the defender and wish to keep him.
Another Serie A side Sassuolo are also keeping an eye on the situation with Bocat.
