Leeds United are preparing to revive their interest in Harry Wilson after receiving new encouragement that a deal with Fulham could finally materialise in January.
The Wales international was close to moving to Elland Road on deadline day, only for the transfer to collapse at the last moment when Fulham withdrew permission for him to travel for a medical.
Wilson, now 28 and out of contract at the end of the season, is facing fresh uncertainty at Craven Cottage. Fulham brought in Kevin and Samuel Chukwueze on deadline day, both of whom are natural wingers and direct competition for Wilson’s favoured right-sided role.
