Fiorentina sign Ndour from PSG for 5m plus sale clause

Fiorentina have officially signed Italy Under-21 international Cher Ndour from Paris Saint-Germain for €5m plus 50 per cent of his sell-on fee.

The midfielder had been on loan at Besiktas, but had to terminate that agreement five months early after 22 competitive appearances in which he contributed one goal and two assists.

He had also been linked with Genoa, Lazio, Torino and Bologna, but ultimately signed for Fiorentina after undergoing a medical yesterday.

Ndour completed the transfer for a low-cost fee of just €5m, although as part of the agreement, Paris Saint-Germain will pocket 50 per cent of any future sale.

The 20-year-old midfielder has represented Italy at every youth level from Under-15 all the way up to Under-21, where he has 15 caps and two goals.

A product of the Atalanta youth academy, he also spent time at Benfica before the free transfer to PSG in 2023, going on loan to SC Braga and Besiktas.
